Man Sculpture II – The Kissing man

Often i re-use certain sculptures in different settings.
After a sculptures first exhibition it goes through transformation sometimes intended, like deliberated changes to the form, sometimes unintended through damages and repairs. In this way the sculpture grows. It frees it self from my initial intentions, and meaning to become something else.
Sometimes i like to see it as though the sculpture grows its own character.

Every time it plays a role in a installation its story grows

This specific sculpture and installation is essentially a self portrait at a moment when I felt very powerful. It is the second installation in which the figure played a role. Since then it played a part in many more.
